FEP is a hot melt flowing fluororesin with similar physical, chemical, electrical and thermal properties to PTFE. It is a thermoplastic resin. The transparency of products is higher than that of PTFE. Its main uses are concentrated in the electrical and chemical fields. FEP wire and cable: with the miniaturization and specialization of electronic and electrical equipment, the requirements of high temperature resistance, flame retardant and low dielectric constant are put forward for wires.
Main uses of FEP wires: wiring of electronic equipment such as computers and insulated wires, control cables and communication equipment cables of 600V electrical equipment. Wire and cable is the main application field of FEP. It is not only used in communication wires and cables, but also used in military wires and other spacecraft, thermal detection wires, computer rear panel wires, coaxial cable cores and insulation.
FEP chemical industrial application: FEP has good temperature resistance, solvent resistance and chemical stability. It can be used as the anti-corrosion material for chemical devices.
